Label head A. G. Cook announces the first PC Music festival ahead of the release of his new album Apple on 18th September.
Taking place as a livestream on 12th September, the lineup includes PC Music alumni, collaborators and friends including Charli XCX, 100 Gecs, Kero Kero Bonito and Hannah Diamond. It is also a chance for fans to witness the next generation of acts with Planet 1999 and Namasenda – plus many more.
To enter, a fan must purchase the “Appleville – Golden Ticket” on the PC Music Bandcamp, which will feature an exclusive Caroline Polachek remix of previous single “Oh Yeah” as well as other surprises. All proceeds from “Appleville” will be donated to the charities Mermaids & Black Cultural Archives.
“Appleville is a tribute to live computer music in all its forms,” shares Cook. “A pastoral escape in the comfort of your own home, an infinite green field where you can sit back and watch some of your favourite musicians grapple with the limitations of time & space. Free to observe, but a Golden Ticket can be purchased on Bandcamp to gain access to the moshpit, as well as select recordings of the concert and other exclusive music.”
Cook’s latest single ‘Xxoplex’ was released in conjunction with the announcement.
