Caro return with their first release in two years, ‘Fall Apart’. The first preview of their forthcoming debut album – which is due later this year – the track is an adventurous instance of indie.

Taking audible earmarks from the likes to fellow experimental songwriters alt-J, the track showcases frivolous percussion and embodies a restless energy as it shifts through bright guitar work and buzzing basslines. Discussing the struggles of mental health – including confusion, paranoia, anxiety and self-loathing – the lyrics create a strong juxtaposition with the bouncy energy of ‘Fall Apart’

Speaking of the track, frontman and lyricist Adam Pardey says the track is “very self-reflective, it’s everything I think about. The whole project is a lens through which I see the world and operate.”

‘Fall Apart’ is available now via Yala! Records.
