Manchester indie rock newcomers Corella have blown us away with the video to their recent effort ‘Come Around’.
Equal parts powerful and emotional, the band are taking a step in a much more serious direction.
The track itself sounds a lot more mature than their previous works such as debut, ‘Dice’. Speaking on the track the band explain that, “’Come Around’ has an uplifting energy and fast paced tempo to it that we really love. Some of our previous tracks are a bit groovier, but with this track it’s got a constant drive to it, not letting our foot off the gas at any point. There’s a no nonsense feel to it which is something we’ve wanted to strive towards with this single.”
As for the band themselves, they met at Manchester University and have been making waves in the alt-pop world ever since. ‘Come Around’ is a statement of intent for 2020 that has got us very excited indeed.
