Stoke-on-Trent musician Lissy Taylor continues to establish her unique and powerful sound on latest single ‘Summer Rain’. There is a really cathartic and raw sense of overcoming and digging yourself out of a hard time throughout the track, and ensuring that you learn from these mistakes rather than simply dismiss them. From it’s articulate guitars to the driving force of the drums, ‘Summer Rain’ feels like a memorable and thoughtful track that might just be what you need this summer.

“When I wrote Summer Rain, I saw it as a form of self love by getting yourself through a hard time and coming out the other side but with the recognition that its gone but not forgotten.” Lissy says of the track. “I envisioned it as being stood out in the rain letting any pain be rinsed away.”
