We have long been fans of New Zealand outfit and self-proclaimed “Dumb band” Off Judy, with their unique charm and sense of personality permeating tracks like ‘Tie My Shoes’ and ‘User Guide’ over the last few years and providing them with something of a cult status for their catchy melodies and sense of fun.

The latest release from the outfit, ‘Treadmill’, is more of what we love from Off Judy. Their distinctive personality, huge choruses, and insatiable sense of fun is on full display here. Despite the lyrics here about being stuck in a repetitive routine and going nowhere (hence the ‘Treadmill’ analogy), their sense of energetic charm and catchiness continues to prevent any bad vibes from seeping through into their sound. Long cemented as our favourite Kiwi garage rock stars, Off Judy just continue to bring the noise and provide us with melodies that will stick with us for days on end.
