Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes are at their best on ‘Set Me Free’

Gearing up for the release of their debut album, 'Set Me Free' is the perfect preview.

Gearing up for the release of their debut album, ‘Set Me Free’ is the perfect preview.

Their final release before letting their debut album Sweetie out into the world, Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes are on their way to world domination straight from the Scandinavian indie scene.

Encapsulating their true dreamy, indie-pop sound ‘Set Me Free’ is the perfect final preview into the album. (Of which, we defo think will be up for album of the year…)

The track follows the release of ‘Change of Heart’ and ‘Moon’, both of which are also on Sweetie. Speaking on the track the band explain that “It feels impossible to not portray the future. The album is a concoction of stories from our lives – what it means to be young today, with the challenges and dreams we have ahead of us. The songs are collections and fragments of thoughts about our future, what we can, should and want to do. We have written simple and we have written challenging. And we have finally landed in a collection of songs that formed our album. Our first. Sweetie.”
