The two time Mercury nominee is back!
At the 6 Music Festival on Sunday, the excellent Ghostpoet debuted songs from his new album I Grow Tired But I Dare Not Fall Asleep, formally announcing the project alongside a run of UK and EU tour dates for Autumn 2020.
His latest single release ‘Concrete Pony’ has already drawn comparisons to artists like Tom Waits and Baxter Dury, while the upcoming album will feature guest vocals from Art School Girlfriend, Delilah Holiday (Skinny Girl Diet), SaraSara and Katie Dove Dixon.
The album follows 2017’s Dark Days + Canapés, feeling more “dystopian”, capturing the “universal unease and anxiety we feel as we enter into this new decade, an uncertain future”.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, 13th March here, you can preorder the record here too.
