As more events and festivals are cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Truck has announced that it has cancelled its 2020 event, with 23rd – 25th July 2021 being announced for next year’s event.

Ticket holders will be contacted over the next seven days, with refunds available, but if no action is take, the tickets are rolled over and will be accepted for next year’s festival.

In a statement, the festival said:

“We’d like to start by saying how eternally grateful the whole team is for all the support and messages you’ve given us through this difficult period, it’s been a tough time for all of us and we’d like to thank you for your patience.

We’ve tried every possible avenue to make this year’s show a possibility. However, regrettably, we have to let you know; after a full review with the relevant local authorities; and with the best interests and safety of our festival-goers, artists, staff, the emergency services and our suppliers, in mind; we are truly devastated to confirm that Truck Festival will not be able to take place this year.”

“For now, keep safe, keep healthy and look after each other.”
