Leicester-based rock band Jools return with the riotous ‘Almost Famous’! The track champions women and their right for rights✊

Fuelled by compelling guitars and punchy, forceful drum work, ‘Almost Famous’ is as immediate as it is catchy. Slick riffs add a touch of class whilst gurning bass lines drive the energy on. Topped off with the arresting and commanding vocal of Mitchell Gordon, it is a moment that is impossible to ignore, and carries an important political message to boot.

“‘Almost Famous’ celebrates the existence of powerful women. The narrative is personal, suggesting that I would give the world to the woman that changed mine forever,” shares Gordon.

“The concept is far wider, with the title highlighting the ever-growing recognition for women within our society – our mother’s, daughter’s, sister’s, lovers. The song was inspired by historical women’s rights movements, such as ‘The Equal Rights’ and ‘Women’s Lives’ marches. The future is female, and I look forward to it.”

‘Almost Famous’ is available now.
