South London talent Lauren Dejay releases debut ‘Cherry Cola’

An electro-pop track with nods to contemporary R&B, Lauren is making a strong entrance to the musical world with this release.

We love a solid debut.

We have an exciting one here for you. Lauren Dejay’s debut single, ‘Cherry Cola’.

An electro-pop track with nods to contemporary R&B, Lauren is making a strong entrance to the musical world with this release.

Starting back in Jan 2019 when Lauren locked herself away in the country for a week alone. Lauren was attempting to write something after a long period of not loving what she had been producing.

Speaking on the track Lauren explains that, “the inspiration from the lyrics came from having a pretty rough time for a few years after leaving Music University in 2017, and it felt as if every time I tried to open up about how I was feeling, I would get shut down by people telling me it’s just in my head and I need to move on and just stay positive.”
